Meet Sam Aly

Small Town Dedication
I grew up in a small farming town, raising llamas on our family ranch, a place where hard work and self-reliance shaped who I am. Homeschooled and driven, I tested out of high school at 12, diving straight into college to earn double bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Computer Information Systems, followed by an MBA from Pepperdine University which included an incredible semester studying in Australia. My career as a financial and operational consultant took me around the globe, helping some of the world’s biggest brands cut waste, streamline operations, and thrive, skills I’m now bringing to fix Pflugerville’s fiscal mess.
In 2017, I married my amazing wife, and together we’re raising our two beautiful daughters here in Pflugerville. They keep us on our toes, whether we’re exploring our city’s parks and trails or just enjoying the small moments that make this community home. Like you, I’m invested in making sure Pflugerville remains a place where families can grow and prosper, not one where skyrocketing costs and council mismanagement drive us out. I’m running as a write-in candidate to bring my expertise and passion to city council, fighting for a future our kids deserve.
Longtime Pflugerville Resident
My family and I have called Pflugerville home for years. I’m not just a candidate, I’m your neighbor, facing the same challenges you do: soaring water rates, rising taxes, and a city council that seems more interested in lavish projects than in keeping our town affordable. My roots here run deep, and I’m committed to preserving the small-town charm that makes Pflugerville special while tackling the issues that threaten our ability to stay.
Living here, I see the impact of the council’s reckless spending and insider deals firsthand. It’s frustrating to watch our community’s potential squandered by a small clique of bureaucrats and their hand-picked allies. As a write-in candidate, I’m stepping up to represent US: the families, workers, and neighbors who want an affordable city that works for everyone. My campaign is about listening to you and fighting for a Pflugerville that’s affordable, vibrant, and true to its roots.
Fiscal Conservative
As a firm believer in the Austrian school of economics, inspired by thinkers like Ludwig von Mises and Frédéric Bastiat, I’m guided by principles that prioritize individual freedom, sound economic policy, and limited government. I believe city government should protect your rights and liberties while staying out of your way, letting you live your life without burdensome taxes or overreach. Pflugerville’s current leadership has not only never believed in leaving you alone, they've been busy piling on billions in debt and driving up costs with projects that serve insiders more than residents. It’s unacceptable, and I’m running to stop it.
My experience as a financial consultant gives me a clear-eyed view of what’s at stake. I’ve helped global companies cut waste and operate efficiently, and I’ll bring that same discipline to city hall. No more blank checks for vanity projects or unchecked spending that threatens our future.
Instead, I’ll push to lower taxes, slash water rates, and make housing affordable, ensuring every decision maximizes value for you, the taxpayer.
Write in “Sam Aly” this November, and let’s restore fiscal sanity and liberty to Pflugerville.
